Sriharikota, a barrier island in the Bay of Bengal coast of Indian Ocean situated in the state of Andhra Pradesh is the main spaceport of India.

The spaceport has two launch pads, both capable of launching PSLV and GSLV Rockets. It also has a separate launch site for sounding rockets.
